Hell was not made for us. It was made for the devil and his angels. When I heard this for the millionth time, I wondered ‘if it is made for the devil and demons then why do humans go there?’ I felt God lay on my heart “they don’t “just go there” on their own, Satan takes them there through manipulation, temptation, and sin. But, I provide a way out”.
Look at Eve. Adam and Eve were living sin free walking with the Lord in peace until Satan came to Eve and convinced her to do what was wrong. Even though she shouldn’t have listened, it was still Satan who manipulated her, convincing her wrong is right, bringing sin into the world.
Satan hates God and because we are made in God’s image, he hates us even more so. God gives everything to us that Satan desires but he will never receive them. Since he hates us, he tries to take us with him to eternal condemnation. But Jesus provides the way out. He is the way, the truth, and the life.
