Praise and worship are so powerful that it moves the spirit world!
Just think, if you read Psalms 8, David is praising God for His glorious name and David is just in awe of the power that is in God’s hands. Psalms 19, David is talking about how all of God’s creation proclaims God’s glory. Then it goes on to talk about how God’s word is perfect and refreshing, how it can complete us.
These two chapters, scholars say were written for Saul. 1 Samuel 16:23 tells us when the evil spirit would come over Saul, David would sing to him and the evil spirit would leave. But David didn’t sing just anything, he sang a song of praise to God. It’s because of the worship David would send up that the spirit would leave. Our worship acts as a sheild and defence in our lives and not only our lives but in the lives of others.
In Acts 16, Paul and Silas are in prison but they continued to worship God through the hard ship. Their praise caused the foundation of the prison to be shaken, all the chains of all the prisoners were unlocked, and all the prison doors were opened.
Your praise can cause your strongholds to be broken along with the strongholds of others.
James 4:7 says Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Resistance is not ignoring but standing against. The best way to stand against evil is worship and praise to God.
Start worshipping God and praising His name and see how fast your anxiety leaves you. Watch how fast your fear and worry leave when you start giving glory where glory is due.
